What you'll be doing
As a Cardiac Sonographer in our unit you’ll perform and adapt echocardiograms to meet clinical needs, prioritise patient care, and contribute to a high-performing diagnostic team.
You will be:
Performing echo studies to ASUM and NSW Health standards.
Managing inpatient and outpatient workflow.
Ensuring patient dignity and confidentiality.
Adjusting techniques for optimal diagnostic outcomes.
Supporting departmental operations and on-call services.

Essential Criteria:
Qualification: Post Graduate Diploma in Medical Ultrasound (Cardiac)
Registration: Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registery
Selection Criteria:
Accredited by the Australian Sonographer accreditation registry.
Postgraduate qualifications in Medical Sonography (Cardiac).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment towards a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
Computer literacy.
Demonstrate high standard of practice within the profession, through the active involvement in areas such as conferences, lectures, seminars, continuing education or professional development.
