What you'll be doing
The Level 3 Audiologist is an experienced clinician who possess extensive knowledge in paediatric audiology. This tertiary level clinic requires the audiologist to effectively and professionally perform a large range of specialised measures involved in the diagnosis of hearing loss and other auditory conditions, on an often complex and difficult-to test population. The Audiologist will provide evidence based care within a multidisciplinary and family centred context.
The Level 3 audiologist will contribute at an advanced level to:

- Management of the patient and families involving the liaison with a wide range of agencies and consultants to ensure seamless transitions and optimal outcomes for patients and families, especially in a broad multi-cultural environment.
- Planning, development and evaluation of audiology services.
- Development, implementation and evaluation of policies, procedures and practice guidelines for patient care.
- Liaison with community based services relevant to the patient population.
- Providing clinical supervision and support to Level 1 and 2 audiologists and students.
- Leading quality improvement activities.


The Audiologist will be required to fulfil operational, professional and clinical requirements to ensure the provision of an efficient, evidence-based and family-centred audiology service.
