As an Assistant in Nursing (AIN), you will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to support the delivery of safe, compassionate, and patient-centred care within the surgical wards of NBH. This role offers flexible work opportunities and exposure to diverse specialty areas, allowing you to further develop your clinical skills and experience within a supportive healthcare environment.
- Currently enrolled in second or third year of a Bachelor of Nursing or degree deemed appropriate; or current enrolment in Diploma of Nursing (HLT54121) with evidence of completion of Block 1; or completion of HLT33115 Certificate III in Health Services Assistance (Assisting in Nursing Work in Acute Care).
- Demonstrated, effective written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team.
- Demonstrated computer skills with experience using MS Office programs and electronic filing systems.
