We are looking for an Assist In Nursing to join our supportive Inverell Dialysis team.

Inverell Dialysis is an 8-chair unit operating six days a week, with day shifts only, providing a welcoming and patient-focused environment where you can develop your skills while supporting people throughout their dialysis journey.

This is a great opportunity to build your healthcare skills, work alongside experienced clinicians and contribute to the delivery of safe, compassionate patient care.


What You'll Be Doing

As an Assist In Nursing, you will support the dialysis team with a range of important clinical and patient-focused tasks, including:

  • Setting up equipment and preparing the dialysis environment.
  • Performing and recording patient observations as directed.
  • Supporting patients with mobility and comfort.
  • Assisting the clinical team to maintain a safe and clean environment.
  • Cleaning and maintaining dialysis equipment in accordance with relevant procedures.
  • Supporting patients and contributing to a positive experience throughout their treatment.
  • Working collaboratively with nurses and other members of the multidisciplinary team.
