Remuneration: $26.98 - $29.55 per hour
Hours Per Week: 37 (Job Share may be considered for part time hours)

What you'll be doing 
As an Assistant in Nursing (AIN), you will play a vital role in supporting patients’ rehabilitation journeys, providing high-quality care under the guidance of Registered Nurses. You will help patients regain independence and improve their quality of life through compassionate, hands-on support. Key responsibilities will be to:

  • Deliver safe, effective, and person-centred care in collaboration with the nursing team.

  • Assist patients with personal care, mobility, and communication needs.

  • Support clinical staff with procedures, equipment cleaning, and ward maintenance.

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation to ensure quality and continuity of care.

  • Contribute to a positive and safe environment by following health, safety, and quality procedures.

Selection Criteria:

  1. Applicant must hold Certificate III Acute Care (HLT33115) or enrolled in Bachelor of Nursing degree second year

  2. Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team

  3. Demonstrated ability to use information technology systems.

  4. Proven ability to be self-motivated, flexible and adaptive as clinical needs arise, and still remain within the scope of practice of an AIN

  5. Demonstrated ability to manage conflict situations in a calm and professional manner

  6. Demonstrate effective verbal and written skills, , including the ability to communicate with the multidisciplinary health care team
