About the Role
As an Assistant in Nursing within our 22-bed Rehabilitation Unit, you will:
- Deliver high-quality, individualised patient care from admission to discharge
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team of Rehabilitation and Geriatric specialists
- Conduct hourly rounding using HAIDET, ISBAR, and patient care boards
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Communicate clearly with patients, families, and team members
This unit provides care to patients aged 16+ in a 24/7 service environment.
About You
We are looking for someone who demonstrates:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent time management and organisational ability
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Honesty, compassion, and a genuine caring nature
- Hold a Certificate III in Assistant in Nursing (Acute care) OR be a Registered Nurse student (completed 1st year + first semester/trimester of 2nd year) OR be an Enrolled Nursing student (completed foundational TAFE NSW Diploma units + 80 hours clinical placement)
