Where you'll be working
5W and 5E together make up 60 Orthopaedic specialty beds within the Clinical Services Building at Royal North Shore Hospital. We are a major tertiary referral hospital as well as a trauma centre for NSW. We have a dynamic nursing team as well as interdisciplinary team of allied health staff within our unit, with a strong focus on patient centred care.

What you'll be doing
Provision of support to the nursing team in order to deliver a high standard of care to NSLHD patients. 

People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

  1. Currently enrolled in second or third year of a Bachelor of Nursing or degree deemed appropriate; or current enrolment in Diploma of Nursing (HLT54121) with evidence of completion of Block 1; or completion of HLT33115 Certificate III in Health Services Assistance (Assisting in Nursing Work in Acute Care).
  2. Demonstrated, effective written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  3. Demonstrated ability to work in a team.
