What you will bring to the role:
- Holds Certificate III) in Health Services Assistance (Assistant in Nursing work in Acute Care); or currently enrolled as a 2nd year Undergraduate Nursing Student with previous experience working in an acute care facility
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to conduct nursing practice in a manner that respects the rights of individuals and groups
- Demonstrated ability to use computer-based applications and information systems.
- Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated flexibility in performance of duties, customer service delivery and attention to detail
- Availability and capacity to participate in a 24 hour/ seven-day rotating roster which includes working all shifts, all days of the week including public holidays
Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable permanent resident or citizen of Australia has been identified and must not exceed the duration or conditions associated with the current visa.
