Are you an AIN or a 2nd Year undergraduate nursing student who is passionate about mental health and wants to help to support consumers on their journey to recovery? 

We are looking for AIN's to complement and enhance the current casual nurse pool at Eastern Suburbs Mental Health Service, where you will have the opportunity to undertake available shifts - work as much or as little as you like to fit in with your personal commitment or study.
 
This is a great opportunity for your to develop or obtain valuable experience and skills in the mental health environment.

Inpatient Mental Health Units, ESMHS, located on the Prince of Wales Hospital campus, Randwick

Selection Criteria: 

  1. Certificate III in Health Services Assistance (Assisting in Nursing Work in Acute Care) or equivalent experience deemed appropriate; or currently a 2nd/3rd year undergraduate nursing student.
  2. Good written, verbal, communication, observation and reporting skills.
  3. Proven ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  4. Previous experience working in a care setting with an interest in mental illness and well-being.
  5. Understanding of issues surrounding consumer confidentiality.
