What you’ll be doing
As an Assistant in Nursing, you will play an essential role in delivering patient-centred care under the guidance of Registered Nurses and Midwives.
Provide compassionate support with personal care, mobility, and daily needs
Assist nurses with routine technical support functions, including procedures and equipment
Maintain accurate and timely documentation to support safe care delivery
Actively contribute to a collaborative model of care, ensuring patient needs are met
Promote a safe environment through effective communication and incident reporting

Selection Criteria:
Successful completion of Certificate III Acute Care (HLT33115) with experience in acute care environments deemed appropriate by WSLHD or documented evidence of placement in 2nd Year as an undergraduate Registered Nurse at tertiary level documented evidence of enrolment in Diploma of Nursing (HLT54115).
Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team
Demonstrated ability to use information technology systems
Proven ability to be self-motivated, flexible and adaptive as clinical needs arise, and still remain within the scope of practice of an AIN
