Where you'll be working
 
Northern Beaches Hospital - Ward 4B
Ward 4B delivers high-quality care to patients with acute and chronic cardiac and respiratory conditions. It is a 36 bed ward consisting of 6 dedicated beds for CCU and 30 high acuity medical beds with a cardiac and respiratory focus.
What you'll be doing
As an Assistant in Nursing, you will provide high-quality support to patients and assist Registered Nurses and the wider healthcare team in delivering safe, compassionate, and person-centred care. You will play an important role in supporting patients with their daily living activities while promoting dignity, comfort, and independence.
People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
  1. Currently enrolled in second or third year of a Bachelor of Nursing or degree deemed appropriate; or current enrolment in Diploma of Nursing (HLT54121) with evidence of completion of Block 1; or completion of HLT33115 Certificate III in Health Services Assistance (Assisting in Nursing Work in Acute Care).
  2. Demonstrated, effective written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  3. Demonstrated ability to work in a team.
