What you'll be doing 
As an Assistance in Nursing in our Cardiology Department, you’ll play a vital role in supporting patients and the nursing team to ensure high-quality, compassionate care. Under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, you will contribute to patient wellbeing and smooth clinical operations.

  • Assist patients with personal care, mobility, and communication needs

  • Provide nursing care within scope of practice under RN direction

  • Accurately maintain patient records and documentation

  • Support nurses in preparing for procedures and ensuring equipment is cleaned and ready

  • Actively contribute to safety, quality improvement, and a culture of person-centred care

  1. Applicant must hold Certificate III Acute Care (HLT33115) or enrolled in Bachelor of Nursing degree second year

  2. Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team

  3. Demonstrated ability to use information technology systems.

  4. Proven ability to be self-motivated, flexible and adaptive as clinical needs arise, and still remain within the scope of practice of an AIN

  5. Demonstrated ability to manage conflict situations in a calm and professional manner

  6. Demonstrate effective verbal and written skills, , including the ability to communicate with the multidisciplinary health care team
