Tingha Multipurpose Service is a small, close-knit rural healthcare facility where compassionate aged care, teamwork, and community connection come together. With 9 residential aged care beds and a First Aid Post, Tingha MPS plays a vital role in supporting older people and families within the local community.
We are seeking a caring and motivated Assistant in Nursing (AIN) to join our supportive team. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of residents while working in a welcoming rural healthcare environment.
The Role and You
As an Assistant in Nursing, you will provide high-quality personal care and support to residents, assisting them to maintain dignity, independence, and quality of life. You will work collaboratively with nurses and the wider healthcare team to deliver compassionate, person-centred care.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A compassionate and respectful approach to resident care
- The ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Strong listening skills and the ability to engage positively with others
- Must meet one of the following,
Hold a Certificate III in Assist in Nursing Acute Care (other certificates may be accepted)
Be a Registered Nursing student (completed 1st year + first semester/trimester of 2nd year)
Be an Enrolled Nursing student (completed foundational TAFE NSW Diploma units + 80 hours clinical placement)
Certificate or Transcript to be uploaded as part of application
