We are looking for Assistants in Nursing who excel in providing compassionate care and want to be part of a well-respected Palliative care service.

Where you'll be working
Palliative Care Unit & Geriatric Evaluation and Management Unit - Mona Vale Hospital.

What you'll be doing
Provision of support to the nursing team in order to deliver a high standard of care to NSLHD patients. 

People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background encouraged to apply.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:    

 

  1. Currently enrolled in second or third year of a Bachelor of Nursing or degree deemed appropriate; or current enrolment in Diploma of Nursing (HLT54121) with evidence of completion of Block 1; or completion of HLT33115 Certificate III in Health Services Assistance (Assisting in Nursing Work in Acute Care).
  2. Demonstrated, effective written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  3. Demonstrated ability to work in a team.
