We’re looking for 2nd or 3rd year Bachelor of Nursing students (in 2026) to join our AIN team. If you’re passionate about providing great patient care and want to build your clinical experience while you study, we’d love to hear from you.

  

To be eligible, you must:

  • Be currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Nursing
  • Have successfully completed at least 2 semesters with a satisfactory academic record
  • Have completed a minimum of 1 undergraduate clinical placement
  

Your application must include:

  • A current CV
  • Proof of enrolment (in 2026 + confirmation of enrolment for 2025)
  • A full academic transcript (PDF format)
  • A full placement assessment for at least one completed undergraduate clinical placement (PDF format)

Selection Criteria 
To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below. 

  • Current enrolment in, and successful completion of, at least two semesters (one year full-time equivalent study) of a Bachelor of Nursing or Graduate Entry Master of Nursing (GEM) program, as evidenced by an academic transcript, and completion of at least one clinical placement.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under supervision and provide safe compassionate quality care that is culturally responsive.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and engage with patients/consumers, carers and the multidisciplinary health care team to identify and ensure responsiveness of care needs
  • Demonstrated capacity to interact with others in a personable and professional manner and personally resolve conflicts when they arise.
  • Demonstrated evidence of the use of critical thinking as it relates to the delivery of evidenced based nursing care.
  • Demonstrated understanding and participation in risk management, work health and safety and quality improvement in the workplace.
  • A thorough understanding of scope of practice and demonstrated ability to work within scope boundaries.
