About the role: 

As an Assistant in Nursing (AIN) in our Level 5 Emergency Department, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate, hands-on support to patients, assisting with personal care, mobility, and communication needs to enhance their daily living and well-being. You’ll also support nurses by performing technical tasks, such as checking equipment and preparing for procedures, ensuring seamless patient care.

This role is perfect for an AIN currently completing their Registered Nursing studies, offering a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced clinical environment. It also serves as an excellent stepping stone for those interested in the direct post-graduate entry program under the “Grow Our Own” initiative.

Enjoy the flexibility of morning and evening shifts, Monday to Sunday, offering the perfect balance between work and personal life. You will be part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team, working under the supervision of a Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) and Registered Nurses (RNs), alongside Enrolled Nurses (EENs), medical staff, and Allied Health professionals in a dynamic healthcare environment.
