About the Role
  • An AIN working at Boggabri is required to work in the RACF and occasionally assist in the Acute Care ward.
  • AINs also provide personal care and domestic assistance to clients in the Community as the MPS services 3 Community Care Packages.

Where you'll be working
  • The Boggabri MPS is located in northwest NSW, 1.5 hours drive from Tamworth. Boggabri is a small town of approximately 1000 people.
  • The MPS has 16 Residential Aged Care Facility beds, 4 acute care beds and 2 emergency department beds.
  • AINs are required to work in the RACF as well as provide some personal care and domestic services to clients in the community.
  • One of the most popular things to do in the town is the historic walk through the centre of town, visiting the remarkable rocky outcrop known as Gin’s Leap, and the local museum.

Requirements

  • Certificate III Assistant in Nursing or currently enrolled in an undergraduate Registered Nursing degree (completion of first year and first semester or trimester of second year), or have equivalent experience.

  • To be eligible for permanent employment in this position you must be an Australian Citizen, or a permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport.
