Nepean Hospital is a teaching hospital that provides tertiary referral services in emergency care, coronary care, diagnostics, gynaecology, paediatric, neonatal intensive care/ICU, maternity, mental health, rehabilitation, and surgery. Nepean Hospital is seeking a detail oriented and proactive Asset Data Officer to support the management and integrity of asset information across the hospital's facilities, equipment, and infrastructure. In this role, you will maintain asset registers, conduct audits, analyse data, generate reports, and ensure asset records remain accurate, compliant, and up to date to support operational and strategic decision-making.

The ideal candidate will have strong data management and administrative skills, excellent attention to detail, and experience working with databases and Microsoft Excel. What you will bring to the role

  1. High level conceptual and analytical skills and the ability to analyse and interpret complex information from numerous sources and deal with challenges creatively and achieve business focused solutions
  2. Demonstrated experience and understanding of infrastructure, plant and equipment. type assets and statutory requirements of assets groups within a large complex organisation.
  3. Proven technical experience in one or more multiple areas including mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire related plant & equipment within a large complex facility and/or buildings.
  4. Demonstrated experience working with AutoCAD and TRIRIGA, or equivalent integrated Computerised Maintenance Management System.
  5. Demonstrated ability to capture, interrogate, report on large fields of data.
  6. Proven time management and organisational skills and capacity to deliver high quality output within agreed timeframes.
  7. Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
  8. Current Driver License and willingness to use for work purpose travel. Ability to travel within the LHD in accordance with the position.(Fleet car provided)
