The Role

The Apprentice performs trade apprentice duties under the general supervision of Senior Fitter/Machinist or Maintenance Manager. The Apprentice is also required to attend TAFE training each week as part of the standard working week.

Selection Criteria
 
  1. Completion of compulsory secondary education and must be eligible to enrol in the relevant TAFE trade course.
  2. Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a team with commitment to resident focused service.
  3. Ability to prioritise and manage a wide variety of tasks.
  4. Willingness to travel in accordance with the demands of the position.
  5. First Aid Certificate or willing to obtain.
