About Us – eHealth NSW
At eHealth NSW, we’re leading the digital transformation of Australia’s largest health system. As NSW Health’s digital centre of excellence, we design, build and support world-class ICT solutions that improve patient care across the state.

Guided by a Cloud First Strategy, we’re harnessing digital technology to better patient care and deliver scalable, quality, patient-centred, digital healthcare. With your skills and experience, you can help enrich the lives of millions while developing your career within Australia’s largest health organisation—alongside passionate tech professionals, health partners and industry leaders building solutions that truly make a difference.

About the Opportunity
As an Application Specialist at eHealth NSW, you’ll play a vital role in shaping the future of healthcare by ensuring critical digital applications run smoothly and continue to evolve. You’ll apply your functional and technical expertise to deliver high-quality application support and drive meaningful service improvements that directly enable better healthcare outcomes across NSW.

Beyond the technical work, you’ll be a trusted collaborator—building strong, influential relationships with stakeholders, customers, and colleagues. You’ll contribute to a positive, inclusive workplace culture and work alongside passionate professionals who are united by a shared purpose: making healthcare easier, safer, and more effective through smart digital solutions.

You will be a part of eRIC team that provides 24/7 application support for the AICU and NPICU electronic record for ICU including management and configuration of medication catalogue.

In this role, you will:

  • Deliver trusted functional and technical application support, providing clear advice to stakeholders while building strong, collaborative relationships that encourage knowledge sharing and seamless cross-team communication.
  • Partner closely with the business to understand and translate process requirements, using engaging techniques such as workshops and facilitated discussions to clarify challenges, align stakeholders, and shape practical, user-focused solutions.
  • Design, configure, and maintain complex or large-scale application solutions that meet organisational needs, supported by thorough testing and the creation of clear, high-quality documentation and communications.

About You
We are looking for someone who:

  • You bring hands-on experience working with clinical or digital health solutions in a shared services or clinical environment and understand how technology can meaningfully support patient care and frontline teams.
  • You’re a natural problem solver who can analyse complex clinical challenges, think critically under pressure, and translate issues into practical, effective solutions.
  • You’re highly organised and customer-focused, able to prioritise competing demands, meet deadlines, and deliver outcomes that balance service excellence with stakeholder needs.
  • Knowledge of and experience in the configuration and/or use of the eRIC application is desirable.
