Employment with Mid North Coast LHD requires candidates to hold a valid authority to work in Australia (Aust Work Rights Visa). 

What you'll be doing
Practicing and promoting safe, efficient and effective nursing care that reflects current standards of nursing practices and current Mid North Coast Local Health District policies and procedures.   

About You

You are a Registered Nurse holding current authority to practise with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), demonstrating strong clinical competence within an acute hospital setting. You bring well-developed nursing knowledge, skills and experience that support the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care across a diverse range of clinical situations.

You apply advanced clinical problem-solving abilities to assess, prioritise and respond to patient needs effectively, ensuring optimal outcomes in complex and fast-paced environments. Your communication skills are highly developed, enabling you to engage professionally through information technology systems, as well as through clear and concise written, verbal and interpersonal interactions with patients, families and colleagues.

You are adept at planning, coordinating and delivering patient care within a multidisciplinary team, consistently contributing to outcome-focused care and collaborative practice. Your high level of clinical expertise in the perioperative environment, including trauma care, reflects your ability to perform confidently in high-pressure and specialised settings.

You demonstrate flexibility and commitment by participating in a seven-day rotating roster, including public holidays and on-call requirements, ensuring continuity of care and responsiveness to organisational needs.
