Coral Tree Family Service, North Ryde.

What you'll be doing
The Allied Health Assistant (Night Worker) at Coral Tree Family Service provides environmental and operational support during overnight shifts within the Family Residential Program. 
Coral Tree Family Service is a tertiary referral service providing intensive family-based intervention for children with complex mental health and behavioural difficulties. Families attend planned residential stays during weekdays. 
Working under the supervision of the overnight Allied Health Clinician, the Allied Health Assistant supports the safe and effective operation of the residential environment. The role focuses on maintaining shared spaces, preparing resources and rooms for the following day, and supporting general overnight operations. In the event of escalation, the Allied Health Assistant follows established safety procedures, including activation of duress systems, contacting the appropriate response teams, and following the direction of the supervising clinician. 

People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

 

  1. Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance or willingness to undertake this training or other qualification deemed equivalent by NSLHD.
  2. Demonstrated computer literacy skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office and email applications.
  3. Demonstrated ability to prioritise and manage workload demands and complete activities (including ability to work within scope of practice and seek assistance when required) as delegated by supervising AHP.
  4. Demonstrated interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
