What you will bring to the role

  1. Certificate III or IV in allied health assistance or other equivalent and relevant qualification and/or a minimum of 12 months relevant full time equivalent experience as an allied health assistant
  2. Demonstrated effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  3. Demonstrated experience and skills in manual handling of clients and equipment
  4. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
  5. Demonstrated ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and organise a busy workload
  6. Demonstrated ability to independently undertake tasks, and clinical duties with clients once delegated and operate with minimal direct supervision
  7. Computer literacy, with the ability to use Office, email, and electronic patient record systems
  8. Current Driver's Licence and willingness to use for work purpose travel. This may include driving long distances across NBM LHD


Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable permanent resident or citizen of Australia has been identified and must not exceed the duration or conditions associated with the current visa.
