About the role
If you love brightening an elderly resident’s day, this is the job for you. You’ll contribute to the lifestyle and recreation time of Coonamble’s elderly in residential care, by developing activities and programs that are fun, promote physical activity, and are fulfilling to residents.
You’ll need to be organised, kind and compassionate, proficient computer skills, a good communicator, and enjoy working independently.
You will develop relationships with other organisations in Coonamble to maintain social connection between the residents and the wider community. With support from the nursing staff, you will learn to observe residents for cues of their physical and psychological wellbeing and report changes to nursing staff.
