We are looking for an Allied Health Assistant to join our community and outpatient team at CAReS Ryde Hospital. Providing quality services to aged clients in the community of Ryde and Hunters Hill.

Community Aged Care and Rehabilitation Service at Ryde Hospital

Supporting older adults to live safely and independently at home.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the role of an Allied Health Assistant within a large organisation. Ability to work independently under the delegation of an AHP and the ability to collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team.
- A minimum of a Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance or willingness to undertake this training or other qualification deemed equivalent by NSLHD.
- Demonstrated computer literacy skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office and email applications.
- Identify skills and knowledge in the provision of assistant's activities to provide support for, AHPs, clients, families and carers as required.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise and manage workload demands and complete activities (including ability to work within scope of practice and seek assistance when required) as delegated by supervising AHP.
- Demonstrated interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Currently hold a Class C Drivers Licence
