What you'll be doing
- Provides strategic advice and support to Local Health District (LHD) service providers regarding MHDA (Mental Health Drug and Alcohol)) directions and services for the community, particularly those affected by ICE.
- Providing cultural, diversity and inclusive leadership and advocacy working to establish and maintain key partnerships with government and non- government agencies.

How to apply
To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria in the application as thoroughly as possible
- Recognised tertiary qualification in mental health, Drug and Alcohol and/or leadership, or a combination of study and work experience that are deemed to be acceptable to the service for this position
- Demonstrated knowledge of and/ or experience working with people affected by addictions and the mental health challenges this brings.
- Demonstrated knowledge of and experience of working with NGO partners and Aboriginal community services and an ability to work in a manner that engenders mutual respect in development of effective partnerships and collaborative working.
- Demonstrated experience in leadership and the ability to contribute to projects, programs and strategic, clinical service planning processes and a commitment to developing an action plan to meet the Governments response to the enquiry on ICE.
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills in both verbal and written communication, managing competing priorities, maintaining attention to detail, ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team and the ability to motivate and coordinate staff.
- Demonstrated skills and experience in the use of Microsoft software packages and the ability to produce reports, briefs, and quality documents.
- Valid unrestricted drivers' license for use in NSW/Australia and willingness to travel in the course of employment.
