- MBBS or equivalent, currently registered with the Medical Board of Australia in an appropriate registration category.
- Registered as an Advanced Trainee (Stage 3 or Stage 4) at the time of commencement of employment as per the requirements of the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (ACEM).
- A minimum of three years full time equivalent post graduate hospital experience with significant experience in an Australasian Emergency Department.
- An interest in POCUS and a commitment to high quality teaching and learning.
- Prior experience and relevant courses in POCUS are viewed favourably but are not a prerequisite for selection.
- Demonstrated excellent clinical skills, knowledge and judgement.
- Demonstrated success working in a multidisciplinary team, providing leadership and effective communication to ensure appropriate management of patients.
- Demonstrated insight and reflective learning.
