- MBBS or equivalent, currently registered with the Medical Board of Australia.
- Masters of Public Health Degree or equivalent
- Have received confirmation from the Australasian Faculty of Public Health Medicine of eligibility to commence Advanced Public Health Training.
- Knowledge or experience in public health principles and practice, in particular the Faculty’s core discipline areas of Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Health protection (including communicable disease prevention and control and environmental health), Health Promotion, and Health Policy, planning or management.
- Current Drivers Licence valid within Australia.
- Evidence of high-level written and verbal communication skills with a variety of audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team.
- Evidence of high level computer literacy skills, including advanced word processing, Spreadsheets, databases and other software.
