- Relevant tertiary qualifications, or equivalent industry experience, with demonstrated experience in service and facility planning within a health care setting, in accordance with the Australian Health Facility Guidelines.
- Highly developed problem solving and analytical skills with ability to report on data related to health service needs / demand and capacity / supply, using routine health data collections and projection tools and guidelines.
- Demonstrated capacity to manage complex health and/or community service-related projects and change initiatives to achieve planned outcomes, including project planning, financial monitoring and management, and project evaluation and reporting.
- Proven experience in consulting and negotiating with a range of stakeholders in order to positively influence, build trust, resolve conflict and foster positive working relationships.
- Demonstrated time-management and organisational skills with proven ability to achieve priorities in a complex environment with conflicting agendas.
- Highly developed interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with the proven ability to prepare comprehensive documents for a range of audiences.
- A current drivers licence and willingness to travel in accordance with the demands of the position
