About the Role

You will be working at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. It is one of the nation’s most respected hospitals, with a distinguished history of serving the health needs of local, statewide, national and international communities. Our facilities and services are world class and our staff are dedicated, innovative and caring.

 

This position is responsible for providing a range of administration and secretarial support to the Structural Heart Disease Program at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and ensuring the efficient running of the program through coordination and provision of administrative and clerical duties. This includes coordinating complex clinics, managing correspondence and dictation typing, filling, scanning, as well as assisting with billing and data entry.

Ideal Candidate

  • Has experience in managing a diverse range of administrative tasks independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Able to take initiative, problem-solve and use sound judgment to respond, adapt and cope with changing priorities and demands to deliver an effective service.
  • Demonstrated competent computer skills, proficiency with Microsoft office, i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook, and excellent typing/digital voice dictation skills.
