Northern Beaches Hospital - Staffing Office
The Staffing Administration Officer is responsible for the development and management of a highly skilled nursing and midwifery relief workforce of agency and casual staff.
Shift roster across 7 days of the week 6.30am-3pm and 2.30pm-10.30pm.
You will recruit and manage agency and casual staff with responsibility for ensuring the best use of staff to meet workforce needs. You will ensure training and performance development needs of the agency and casual staff are met, provide support for clinical units and be responsible for working with N/MUM's, to ensure that a highly flexible and skilled workforce is available to meet the operational needs on a daily basis.
• recruiting, credentialing and allocating nursing, midwifery and locum doctor agency and casual staff across the hospital
• supporting management in the planning and delivery of nursing and midwifery agency and casual staff to meet service requirements
• ensuring the practical application of policies, guidelines and protocols for the employment, and allocation of nursing and midwifery staff
• providing generalist and operational support, information and advice on nursing and midwifery agency staff recruitment and rostering
• providing administrative support.
