About the Service & Location
You’ll be based in Taree, working within a dedicated multidisciplinary team providing clinical services across the HNE Drug and Alcohol Clinical Services.

About the Role
As an Administration Officer Level 4, you’ll provide high-level administrative and secretarial support to the Health Service Manager and broader team.

Key responsibilities

  • Managing complex diaries, meetings, and travel arrangements
  • Coordinating payroll, leave and timesheet processing
  • Preparing reports, correspondence, and meeting documentation
  • Organising meetings, agendas, and minutes
  • Handling incoming enquiries via phone, email, and face-to-face interactions 
  • Acting as a key administrative contact for Health Service Manager LMNC and District Senior Nurse Manager position
    This is a fast-paced and varied role where no two days are the same.

  • Proven administrative experience supporting a team or manager
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality documentation
  • Compassionate, patient, and understanding approach
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing demands
  • Ability to work efficiently in a busy, complex environment
  • Commitment to following procedures, protocols, and confidentiality requirements
  • Confidence using a range of systems and software
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Assist with recruitment 
  • Ordering, Invoices, Payments – and the responsibility to Harm Min/ Fleet
  • Support MERIT the data base entries
