What you'll be doing 
As an Administration Officer Level 2 (Ward Clerk), you'll provide timely, accurate administrative and transactional support that helps clinical teams deliver effective patient care. You'll work under the direction of the Nurse/Unit Manager while using initiative to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.

  • Provide welcoming customer service to patients, families, visitors and staff.

  • Maintain accurate patient information, records and inpatient files across iPIMS, SYNAPTIX and other systems.

  • Coordinate documentation, patient property, clothing and ward/unit administrative requirements.

  • Support the smooth flow of documents, patient files, pharmacy provisions and other ward requisites.

  • Liaise with clinical and administrative teams to resolve day-to-day issues and respond effectively to competing demands.

  1. Effective communication skills including accurate spelling, good comprehension, confidence in the spoken word and ability to deal confidently and courteously with people at all levels.

  4. Capacity to work under broad supervision and to undertake a diverse range of tasks as an effective member of a team in a high pressure, high volume work environment.
