About the Role:
Would you like to be part of a passionate team supporting mental health services across the Hunter region? We have an exciting opportunity within the Greater Newcastle Mental Health Service for an Administration Officer to join our dynamic and supportive administration team.
This role includes one full-time maternity relief position based at Lake Macquarie, as well as part-time opportunities across both Lake Macquarie and Newcastle sites.
As an Administration Officer, you’ll be the first point of contact for community members visiting our facilities. Your professionalism, empathy and efficiency will help ensure the smooth daily operations of our service and contribute to a positive experience for consumers, families and staff.
In this Role, You’ll:
- Welcome and assist visitors with warmth, professionalism, and compassion.
- Manage front desk and switchboard duties, directing calls and enquiries promptly and courteously.
- Provide general administrative support, including data entry and documentation.
- Coordinate contractor and delivery management, ensuring smooth facility operations.
- Contribute to a supportive, collaborative, and community-focused workplace.
This is a weekday role, working Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm.
About You:
You are an adaptable, motivated individual who thrives in a busy environment and enjoys working with people. You have excellent communication and organisational skills and take pride in providing high-quality administrative and customer service support.
