About the Role:

This position is essential to the efficient daily operation of the hospital’s administrative and support functions within the Department of Immunology and Infectious Diseases. The role provides critical coordination and oversight, ensuring smooth workflows and alignment across key departmental activities.

Without this position, there would be a significant administrative backlog, resulting in delays to services, compromised patient care, reduced revenue, and an increased burden on clinical and executive staff who would be required to take on non-clinical tasks.

Filling this role is vital to maintaining productivity, staff morale, and overall organisational effectiveness. It encompasses specialised responsibilities, requires a high level of skill, and has a substantial impact on the department’s performance.

About You:

  • Experienced in healthcare administration and support

  •  Strong organisational and multitasking abilities

  •  Skilled in coordinating clinical and non-clinical teams

  • Proactive in managing workflows and reducing backlog

  • Committed to confidentiality and professionalism

  •  Effective communicator with all levels of staff

  • Typing speed: 60 words per minute

  • Focused on supporting efficient, high-quality patient care
