About the Role 
As an Administration Officer (AO3) – Sexual Health & Liver Services, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of busy specialist outpatient services. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality administrative and customer service support to patients, clinicians, and stakeholders, helping to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.

Your responsibilities will include coordinating appointments and clinics, managing medical records and filing systems, maintaining accurate patient information, and utilising a range of NSW Health systems and software. You will also be responsible for handling sensitive information with professionalism, ensuring privacy and confidentiality are maintained at all times. This is a varied and rewarding role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment and enjoys contributing to positive patient experiences.

About You 
You are a highly organised and customer-focused administration professional who takes pride in delivering exceptional service. With experience in administrative support and clinic coordination, you are confident managing competing priorities, meeting deadlines, and maintaining accuracy in a busy healthcare setting.

You possess strong computer skills and are comfortable using a range of software applications and patient management systems. Your excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills enable you to build positive relationships with patients, colleagues, and stakeholders alike.

You are adaptable, proactive, and capable of working independently under broad supervision while contributing effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Experience managing medical records, maintaining filing systems, and supporting specialist outpatient or clinical services will see you thrive in this important role.

What you'll be doing
Provision of timely and efficient administrative support to the North Coast Population and Public Health Directorate’s, Sexual Health and Liver Services including administrative support to Staff Specialists within these fields, and in line with current Mid North Coast Local Health District policies and procedures.
