Applications Close: Sunday 12th April 2026
About the role: Administration Officer
This is a dynamic and multifaceted role where you will serve as a central point of coordination and communication for the Aged Care Services portfolio, ensuring the smooth flow of information and support across the service.
On a typical day, you will manage incoming communications including phone calls, emails, and correspondence, ensuring matters are appropriately triaged, prioritised, and actioned. You will liaise with a broad range of stakeholders - patients, families, clinicians, GPs, and external providers such as ambulance services - maintaining a high level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality at all times.
You will provide high-level administrative and secretarial support to the Nurse Manager and broader team, including diary and email management, coordinating meetings, preparing agendas and minutes, and monitoring actions and deadlines. In addition, you will assist with preparing reports, drafting correspondence, and ensuring all documentation is clear, accurate, and delivered in a timely manner.
A key component of the role involves data entry and management across multiple systems, including HealthRoster, CHIME, IPM, CAP, and Microsoft 365 platforms such as Teams and OneNote. You will be responsible for maintaining data integrity, generating reports, and supporting effective record management processes.
Across the week, you will balance routine administrative responsibilities with more complex coordination tasks, such as supporting service delivery, assisting with rostering, invoicing, and procurement activities, and responding to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. The role requires strong organisational skills, initiative, flexibility, and a high level of attention to detail.
What sets this role apart is the opportunity to work across a broad aged care portfolio, build strong professional relationships, and play an integral role in supporting the delivery of essential community health services.
