What you will bring to the role

  1. Demonstrated ability to work in a busy, complex department with strong organisational skills to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
  2. Capable of working autonomously, using initiative, and multitasking while maintaining attention to detail.
  3. Experience with HealthRoster and understanding of medical rostering practices.
  4. High-level verbal and written communication abilities, with a commitment to confidentiality and discretion
  5. Skilled in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and quick to learn new systems.
  6. Willingness to work collaboratively and adapt to changing responsibilities, including relieving the Executive Assistant to the Director of ICU.
  7. Familiarity with electronic purchasing and reimbursement systems such as iProcurement and iExpenses.
  8. Competent in preparing agendas and accurately minuting meetings within a healthcare setting
