About the Role
We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Administration Officer to provide efficient and effective administrative and clerical support at Manning Hospital.
This front-line role is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a genuine commitment to delivering excellent customer service. As the first point of contact for patients, families, and visitors, you'll help ensure a professional, welcoming, and responsive environment for all.
This position operates on a rotating roster across a 7-day week, with shifts scheduled outside standard business hours—ranging from 6:30am to midnight. Flexibility is essential, as shift times will vary.
You'll receive comprehensive orientation and buddy support throughout your training, and you won’t be working alone—this is a collaborative and dedicated team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a professional first point of contact for all enquiries—phone, email, and in person
- Deliver timely and accurate administrative support, including data entry and document management
- Maintain confidentiality and privacy in all aspects of patient and staff interactions
- Assist in coordinating day-to-day clerical operations and workflows
- Collaborate with clinical and non-clinical staff to support seamless patient care
About You
- Proven ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling sensitive information
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-focused approach
- Proficient in using computer systems and open to learning new technologies
- Confident working independently while being a supportive team player
- Flexible, dependable, and responsive to dynamic roster and service needs
