About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Clinical Speech Pathologist to work as part of our Team providing high quality and response Speech Pathology services to acute and subacute inpatients with a range of clinical presentations, swallowing and communication disorders.  Located at Port Macquarie Base Hospital, this role has a network-wide focus across the Hastings Macleay Clinical Network supporting outreach to neighbouring facilities such as Wauchope Rehabilitation Unit and Kempsey District Hospital. 
You will be part of a highly support Speech Pathology team working collaboratively across all areas of clinical acre as well as providing support and supervision to less experienced speech pathologists.  As a Senior Clinician you will play a vital part in provision of instrumental assessment such as VFSS and Clinician led FEES, and if not already proficient in these clinical areas, you will be supported in development by an onsite clinical specialist in the team. 
This vacancy is to provide maternity leave relief and has the potential to extend beyond this period. 
About You
Do you have a Bachelor of Post Graduate Degree in Speech Pathology and eligibility for practicing membership of Speech Pathology Australia and demonstrated ability to apply advanced clinical reasoning and independent professional judgement when required in solving problems and managing complex cases.  Do you have demonstrated ability and commitment to working in dynamic multidisciplinary teams and high-level skills in time management and organisation.  If so, we want to hear from you.
