Selection Criteria
To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the below questions as thoroughly as possible.
- Being of Aboriginal &/or Torres Strait Islander descent is a genuine occupational qualification for this position under Section 14 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977 (NSW).
- Holds or aspires to hold a minimum Certificate III in Aboriginal Primary Health Care
- Knowledge and understanding of significant health issues that impact on the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal people and their families/communities
- Demonstrated experience in health promotion/education, and coordination of program delivery as an Aboriginal health worker
- Experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
- Demonstrated oral and written communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Current NSW Drivers Licence Class C
