  1. This is an Identified Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander Position. Applicants for this position must be of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent through parentage, identify as an Aboriginal person and/or Torres Strait Islander and be accepted in the community as such. Exemption is claimed under Section 14 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977 (NSW).
  2. Willingness and ability to complete further education in Mental Health or relevant qualification e.g., Certificate IV Mental Health; Bachelor of Health Science (Mental Health) qualification at Charles Sturt University or an equivalent clinical qualification negotiated and approved by the Mental Health Service. 
  3. Describe your experience providing case management or care coordination for Aboriginal individuals or families with mental health or social support needs. How did you approach assessment, collaboration with other services (Government & Non-Government), and culturally responsive care?
  4. Tell us about your experience leading a multidisciplinary team and building partnerships across health services. How did you support staff, collaborate with others, and contribute to improved health outcomes for Aboriginal young people?
  5. Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
