About the role

As an Aboriginal Health Worker, you will provide flexible, culturally respectful care to Aboriginal individuals, families, and communities. You’ll act as a key link between community members and health services, ensuring access, trust, and improved outcomes.
We have roles available in a number of services and specialist areas such as Community, Acute Hospital setting, Child and Family, Mental Health as an example.

Key responsibilities

  • Support and build connections between community and health services
  • Contribute to health promotion, education, and screening programs
  • Identify health and wellbeing needs and provide referrals and support
  • Promote social and emotional wellbeing
  • Work collaboratively with health professionals and community organisations
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure client confidentiality

About you

  • Hold or be working towards a Certificate III in Aboriginal Primary Health Care (or similar)
  • Strong understanding of Aboriginal culture and health issues
  • Great communication skills and ability to engage with community
  • Ability to work in a team environment and manage priorities
  • Current Driver’s Licence
