Connected Care is part of System Performance Support Branch and provides expert advice on issues that may impact on health system performance, identifies opportunities for performance improvement, promotes the implementation of state-wide patient flow initiatives that improve and enhance the delivery of high quality, efficient and effective health services for the NSW community.

About the role

With your skills and experience, you’ll help improve health and wellbeing across NSW while growing your career within Australia’s largest health organisation.

 

In this role, you will support the Connected Care team by delivering project planning, progress monitoring, reporting and coordination to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope and budget.

 

You will work with LHD and SHN stakeholders to support local initiatives and ensure alignment with statewide reforms. You will also prepare advice for Connected Care leadership and Ministry Executive on virtual care, Hospital in the Home and other out of hospital care models.

 

As part of the Connected Care team, you’ll contribute to key reforms that enable NSW Health to deliver more care outside traditional health settings through expanded virtual care.

 

Health Manager level 3, starting salary from $132,236 - $150,222 plus Super, with a 38-hour work week.

 

What you’ll be doing

Providing project support and management for key initiatives to enable NSW Health services to deliver clinical care outside of traditional hospital settings through embedding the use of virtual care.


About you

We are seeking motivated and committed individuals who:

  • Can support large-scale health projects at a district or statewide level to embed virtual care.
  • Can support change management initiatives across clinical services.
  • Work well in a team, build strong relationships, and demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Have excellent written communication skills.
  • Are agile and able to adapt to the changing needs of the health system.
