We are seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to lead the delivery of in-reach Acute Rehabilitation Therapy services for patients at Wollongong Hospital, with the aim to discharge patients directly home and avoid transferring to peripheral sites for rehabilitation or GEM care.

This role involves providing clinical expertise in the management of complex neurological, orthopaedic, and multisystem recovery cases, supervising Allied Health Assistants, Level 1-2 Physiotherapists and students, delivering education to hospital staff on best practices in acute rehabilitation and supporting early rehabilitation models of care across the district.

This role also includes identifying and supporting patients appropriate for home therapy and providing potential care for patients on discharge including utilising virtual models of care. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled clinician looking to step into a leadership role in a dynamic and supportive environment.
