As the Dental Officer (level 1/2), you will provide evidence-based clinical care to patients, resulting in quality care and a contemporary approach to dental practice and patient care. In this role you will be involved in the diagnosis and treatment/management of dental disease and dental health problems from basic to moderately complex.

A Dental Officer (level 1) is a newly qualified employee who is a beginning practitioner developing their skills and competency in dentistry. A Dental Officer (level 2) is a general practitioner who regularly encounters, diagnoses and administers treatment for dental disease and dental health problems of greater than usual difficulty.

ISLHD operate four hospital sites on Dharawal Country in the Illawarra: Coledale District Hospital, Bulli District Hospital, Wollongong Hospital and Shellharbour Hospital.

Permanent Part Time - 24 hours week (Monday to Wednesday)

Temporary Part Time - 24 hours week (Monday, Thursday/Fridays)

This is a temporary parental leave relief position until 3 January 2027 with the possibility of an extension at same or reduced hours.
