The Clinical Trials Team Lead is responsible for ensuring the smooth operationalisation of the cancer clinical trials portfolio undertaken across the Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District. The role will provide expert knowledge and high quality expertise and support for the delivery and conduct of clinical trials throughout their life cycle. The position will support the Clinical Trials Manager with day to day management of the unit including supervision and line management of trial staff and will assist in the financial management of the clinical trial service . As a Senior member of team, the position will provide a pivotal role in supporting the trial workforce with education, clinical skills knowledge development, quality conduct of clinical trials in compliance with relevant legal, ethical and regulatory guidelines and the specialist care of trial participants ensuring a safe and efficient care pathway.
