Are you a passionate and motivated Physiotherapist with diverse experience in leading and managing a team? We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to lead our Aged Care and Rehabilitation team at Bulli Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative and supportive environment, driving exceptional patient care and quality improvement within our Sub-Acute Services. The preferred applicant can have a speciality skillset in either Aged Care or Rehabilitation.

 

About the Role:

As the Physiotherapist Aged Care and Rehabilitation Team Leader, you will work closely with the Subacute Unit Head to oversee and lead the delivery of high-quality care for sub-acute patients. You will be responsible for fostering a positive workplace culture, guiding team members in their professional development, and continuously improving the service delivery through evidence-based practices.

 

Key responsibilities include:

·         Leading and mentoring a team of physiotherapists, providing clinical supervision and ongoing professional development

·         Driving quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and service delivery

·         Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure integrated care for patients in the sub-acute setting

·         Promoting a positive and supportive workplace culture focused on respect, growth, and development

·         Managing caseloads and ensuring effective resource management within the team

·         Providing expert input into the strategic direction of the Aged Care and Rehabilitation services

Bulli Hospital, located on Dharawal Country, provides inpatient, outpatient and allied health services, as well as the Urgent Care Centre, for the northern Illawarra. The Urgent Care Centre provides treatment for minor injury and illness. The nurse-led model of care enables patients to be seen and assessed by specialist nurses who, in consultation with medical teams, deliver treatment and management plans for patients.
