The Nurse Unit Manager in the Community setting is the registered nurse in charge of a service or unit or services or units in a health service and is responsible for the coordination of patient services, unit management and staff management.

ISLHD operate four hospital sites on Dharawal Country in the Illawarra: Coledale Hospital, Bulli Hospital, Wollongong Hospital and Shellharbour Hospital.
