The role of IMACS CNC provides expert clinical infection prevention and control advice to patients or clients, carers and health care professionals regarding the management of complex infection prevention and control health care needs within the LHD.IMACS CNCs are clinical experts who, through leadership, facilitate excellence in evidence-based clinical practice, education, research and professional leadership. The CNC models the CORE (Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment) values of the organisation.
The successful applicant will work cooperatively with other IMACS CNCs to develop and ensure a cohesive and consistent approach. The position involves providing leadership in all facets of infection prevention and control practice and offers significant opportunities for professional development.
